Art students work with stencils and spray paint to create their original work.

Seventh grade students performed a mock trial  in the Law Academy. They had to determine whether a 15 year old was guilty of threatening another student in his songs or whether his rap lyrics were protected by the First Amendment. Ultimately, the student judges determined that the First Amendment did protect his speech. However, the judges did recommend that the young man be a proactive Ieader and tell an adult if it happens again.

9th and 10th grade Law Academy students reflected on US values through a fishbowl discussion. They determined that the emphasis on traditions values, such as individual rights, equality, and justice, has deteriorated. They then brainstormed ways in which the country can return to these values.
